All that is in your heart

If you have a dream, spilling from your heart, there is a reason for it.

Do all that is in your heart.

If your dream magnifies the Creator, there is a good chance God put that dream in your heart.

Do all that is in your heart.

Many of us don’t have the courage to fulfill our dreams.
We get discouraged. We look to the left. We look to the right. We worry about being successful. We worry we will look stupid if things don’t work out.
We have grown to expect limitations.
We fear Disappointments.
We fear the Battle.
In 1 Samuel 14, Jonathon had a big battle to fight where the odds were against him. The Phillistines out numbered him, big time. Twenty to two.
Jonathon wanted to go ahead and take them down. He believed God wanted a victory for the Israelites. Regardless of numbers.
He had a dream.
When he ran it by his armour bearer,
His armour bearer encouraged him by saying…
“Do all that is in your heart.”
He went for it.
He won.

Like Jonathon, we worship a God who dreams big, is all powerful, and wins battles.

If you are dreaming, you probably have a battle to fight.

You can do it.

Look up, to the Source from Whom the dream flows.
Draw on the true, supernatural God-power that overcomes disappointment, fear of failure and discouragement.
Know that your dream may take time to come to fruition.

Until then, dream big. You may have to wait.
In the mean time…
Close the door on disappointment. Put the brakes on fear.

And when you get the go ahead. Do…go ahead. And do…

All
that is in
your heart.

Dream Prayer

I didn’t really know it existed- dream prayer

until I experienced it the other night.

An unconscious mind–connecting with the Living God.
Sound asleep.

Mysterious, no doubt.
I cannot tell you the words that were prayed.
There were no words
I do not know if my prayer was a lament. Intercession. Worship.
But I know it was real.
And I know it was heard.

I remember the presence I felt during the dream–and sounds that came from the depths.
It was a similar sound I had heard before–but something was different.
Passion, intensity.
The complete lack of awareness of thought.

No evaluation, no discerning interpretation. Which makes it impossible to remember or discern exactly what I was praying about.
“For the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words….”

I think…that night
Someone decided my prayer needed some help.
Some groanings, I guess.
It’s a bit strange, really… to be so removed cognitively from that which has so much power.
My mind, my thoughts, my memory: Not really necessary.

And I like thinking about it during the day now–the mystery–and the not knowing.
Something supernatural happened. Is happening. Or will happen.
And I may never know.

Whether we recall or not–I like to think about how many times we pray in our sleep– and what happens in the heavenlies when we lay down at night.

And the very fact that sleeping is no longer just sleeping…
But the unconscious spirit waking.
